Every day we are grateful for the work the shelter and rescue community performs to provide refuge for pets in need of homes.

To say thanks to you and your team, we’re launching the Shelter Appreciation Program.

We recognize that even though our Adoption Day Offers help you keep operations simple, it still takes time to introduce new pet parents to the benefits of pet medical insurance. Through our Shelter Appreciation Program your shelter will receive funds for every completed medical record request. Simply keep doing what you’re doing—but allow us to recognize your time and effort for doing it. Join the Shelter Appreciation Program today:

  • Receive $10 for each completed medical record you send to us for pet owners who have enrolled in a Trupanion policy. This will be paid once in the lifetime of the pet.
  • No cap, no catch

How it works Three simple steps

    Fill out your shelter’s information by clicking the "get started" button to apply for the Shelter Appreciation Program
  • 2.
    U.S. shelters: Email your W-9 Tax Form to ShelterProgram@trupanion.com (not required for Canadian Shelters)
  • 3.
    Get confirmation of your acceptance into the program and start receiving payments!
